WSP appoints three new directors

WSP has boosted its Scottish team with the addition of two technical directors.

Garry Calder has joined from Mott MacDonald’s building services team in Edinburgh that he led. He has worked on projects including the Royal Yacht Britannia and Murrayfield Stadium.

Graeme Bruce will also join WSP’s Edinburgh office as a technical director. Mr Bruce has rejoined WSP from Waterman, where he was regional director for Scotland. In his career he has worked on projects for the Royal Mail, NHS Fife and the Hard Rock Café project in Glasgow.

WSP has also appointed Roy McKenzie to its fire team in Basingstoke as associate director. A former fire fighter in the UK and South Africa, he has joined from Atkins Rail Solutions. He has worked on projects including Selfridges, the British Museum, and more recently London Underground and Crossrail stations, and the London Cable Car across the Thames.

Roy has received a Fire Service Commendation following his work after the Grand Hotel Brighton bombing in 1984, and is currently a lecturer in rail fire engineering at University College London.
