Osborne wins Harrow School contract

Osborne has won a contract to build a new boarding house at Harrow School, one of Britain’s leading independent, all boys, schools serving 800 pupils.

The new 2,800 sq m building will be located on the existing school site at 5 High Street, Harrow on the Hill, Middlesex.

It will accommodate 70 boys plus a house master, assistant house master and matron, and will allow the school to reduce the number of pupils living in existing houses.

Osborne is installing ground source heat pumps, solar panels and rainwater harvesting to achieve good environmental performance and to reduce running costs.

Work is due to be completed in June 2010.
