London housing association Peabody has invited tenders for a five year repair and maintenance contract worth up to £85 million.

It is seeking between four and seven contractors to carry out responsive maintenance on properties and communal areas within social housing estates including void properties.

The contract is divided into three lots covering separate geographical areas.

Lot one covers South London and is worth between £8.5 million and £17 million.

Both lot two and three are worth between £17 million and £34 million, covering North-east London and North-west London respectively.

Firms have until 13 July to express an interest.
