Rochdale seeks development partners for £250m regeneration

Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Council is looking for a developer to take on a £250 million contract for the regeneration of Rochdale town centre.

The 10 year scheme must include, retail, leisure and cultural facilities as residential and office space.

The chosen developer will be required to work with the Rochdale Development Agency, the Homes and Communities Agency and the North West Regional Development Agency.

No more than three bidders will be invited to tender.

Firms have until 24 July to submit pre-qualification questionnaires.
