Sanderson Watts appoints new director

Wigan-based civil and structural engineering firm Sanderson Watts Associates has appointed Eddie Webb as director of engineering.

Despite the economic downturn the company said this decision follows an excellent year’s trading and a period of strategic business growth.

Mr Webb, who has 15 years experience in the civil and structural engineering arena,  joins the company from Amalgamated Construction where he was head of design and prior to that associate director of Cundall Johnson and Partners.

He said: “It’s great to be part of such a forward thinking and reputable organisation, with a good market presence, at a time when they are expanding into new arenas.

“2009 will be an exciting year for us with a number of key projects in progress.”
