Sandwell £14m demolition framework up for grabs

Contractors are being invited to bid for a place on the Sandwell Demolition Partnership framework worth up to £14 million.

The three year framework covers high-reach machine, explosive and traditional demolition work at various sites in Sandwell and neighbouring West Midlands boroughs from 2010 to 2013.

Work to be carried out also includes pre-demolition surveying and installation of security and fencing as well as post-demolition finishing, remediation of ground contamination, clearance and information provision.

A maximum of three firms will be invited to tender by Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council in November.

The deadline for pre-qualification questionnaires is 5 October.
