Stepnell wins £5.5m Wiltshire care home contract

Warwickshire construction firm Stepnell has won a £5.5m contract to build a new care home in Devizes, Wiltshire.

The 80-bed care home is being developed by Brackley Investments for The Orders of St John Care Trust. It is due to be completed in autumn 2014.

The 4,184 sq m building will be arranged over three floors, with bedrooms and facilities for residents, staff offices and a laundry.

Stepnell design and build director David Brill said: “We are excited to be starting work on this high-quality facility and to be once again working with OSJCT.

“Our skilled team draws on a strong track record in building new care home accommodation to the most exacting standards.”

Stepnell is currently building another care home for OSJCT in Grantham, Lincolnshire.
