CN shortlisted for five IBP national journalism awards

Construction News and its writers have been shortlisted for five national journalism awards. 

CN has been shortlisted for best digital service at this year’s IBP Annual National Journalism Awards, against sister title The Architects’ Journal.

Features editor Dan Kemp is up for feature writer of the year for work including the powerful coverage of the Didcot Power Station collapse earlier this year.

Dan is also shortlisted for the multi-media journalist of the year award.

News editor Robyn Wilson has been shortlisted for Construction/Infrastructure Writer of the Year for work including her exclusive that Aecom was launching a UK contracting arm.

CN has won the construction writer of the year award for the past two years running.

Data editor and northern correspondent Charlie Schouten is also shortlisted for the business/financial journalist of the year.

Charlie’s work this year included producing two digital special reports on the state of the UK’s specialist and main contractors.

The awards take place at the Four Seasons hotel on Thursday 1 December.
