The Central Housing Investment Consortium is inviting tenders for two frameworks over nine years worth around £800 million combined.
The first, a four year framework worth up to £327m, will be split into 28 lots. The second, a £400 million, five year framework, will cover 18 lots.
It is expected that up to a minimum of 140 firms could tender for the first framework, while a minimum of five are expected to tender for the second framework. Each covers the social housing sector in the Midlands.
The contracts invlove repairs and replacement of pitched and flat roofs, manufacture and installation of windows and doors, cyclical decorations, groundwork’s and environmental improvements and insulation to cavity’s and roof spaces.
There is also a seperate £90m central heating framework. Firms have until 25 August to express an interest.
