North West housing association collective, Procure Plus, has issued a tender notice for a £130 million new build framework.

The four-year framework has been split into five design and build lots. Contractors will be able to bid for a maximum of two.

The OJEU notice said: “The development projects will predominantly be new build programmes covering, but not limited to, residential dwellings, extra care, sheltered schemes, community centres, supported housing, retirement villages etc.

“However, there may be an element of refurbishment work to existing buildings but only where this is part of a wider development scheme.”

The first lot is for between 1-8 residential units. Lot 2 is for schemes of between 9-15. Lot 3 covers schemes of between 16-24. Lot 4 is for between 25-45 Units,

Lot 5 covers anything above 45 residential units, while extra care homes, sheltered schemes, community centres, supported housing, and retirement villages will also be tendered via this lot where required.

The framework is scheduled to begin in May 2012. Contractors should submit their papers to Procure Plus Limited by 19 December.
