Cyril Sweett awarded Hull gateway project

Cyril Sweett has been appointed as the sole supplier of multi-disciplinary consultancy services for the delivery of Gateway Pathfinder’s £500 million programme to revitalise Hull’s housing market.

The company will be operating under a four year framework as part of the Gateway team.

Having recently secured a further £87 million in government funding, Gateway remains firmly on course to deliver its vision and strategy to create prosperous, diverse and sustainable communities over the next 10-15 years.

Operating out of the Leeds office, Cyril Sweett will deliver a range of consultancy services that include advising the sustainability of development proposals brought forward by Gateway’s Lead Developer Partners, monitoring key performance indicators; project management, cost consultancy, CDM co-ordination and design and technical support on refurbishment and demolition programmes.

David Dodd, regional director at Cyril Sweett in Leeds and framework manager said: “The public sector operates in an increasingly complex environment and, by taking a proactive role in supporting delivery of large scale regeneration projects such as this, we are able to play a significant part in helping to reduce many of the complexities involved in that process.”
