CN100 countdown: Bowmer & Kirkland

CN’s annual CN100 ranks the industry’s leading contractors by turnover alongside detailed analysis of the industry’s performance and prospects. With the 2016 league set to be revealed next month, we look back at how last year’s top 30 CN100 firms have fared in previous editions.

Bowmer & Kirkland climbed two places in last year’s CN100 table of contractors ranked by turnover, but remained just below its peak position of 21st in the 2012 edition.

The firm’s turnover as per the 2015 CN100 shot up having dipped over the previous three years.

B&K’s profit has been steadily gaining ground after falling sharply between the 2012 and 2013 CN100s.

Margins have mirrored profit almost perfectly, rising to 3.7 per cent as per the company’s 2015 entry but some way short of the 6.3 per cent recorded in 2012’s CN100.
