CN100 countdown: Lendlease

Our annual CN100 ranks the top 100 contractors by turnover and provides in-depth analysis of performance and prospects across the industry. Ahead of the publication of the 2016 edition later this month, we look back at how last year’s top 30 have performed over the past four CN100s.

After a sharp fall down the contractor turnover table in CN100 2013, Lendlease has recovered its position over the past two editions.

Revenue was up 10 per cent between the 2014 and 2015 publications but is still to rise above 2012’s £605.1m.

Pre-tax profit has rebounded from a loss as per 2014’s entry to post a strong recovery last year.

Margin returned to around the industry average of 2 per cent having been negative in 2014’s edition.
