CN’s annual CN100 ranks the industry’s leading contractors by turnover alongside detailed analysis of the industry’s performance and prospects. With the 2016 league set to be revealed later this month, we look back at how last year’s top 30 CN100 firms have fared in previous editions.
Mears saw its position among the top 100 contractors by turnover fall back slightly in CN100 2015, having shot up seven places the year before.
Strong growth in revenue between the 2012 and 2014 editions fizzled out somewhat as per last year’s entry.
Pre-tax profit however rocketed 37 per cent in CN100 2105 following several steadier years.
Having fallen a whole percentage point between the 2012 and 2014 tables, Mears saw margins recover their last ground in the most recent CN100.
