CNinsight100 Specialists: Building Envelope

Solaglas, a subsidiary of Saint-Gobain Group, is leading the CNinsight building envelope table with a turnover of £97.1 million, although this was based on 2009 figures.

Josef Gartner is in second place, growing turnover by more than 60 per cent, again according to figures from its previous financial year-end.

Alumet, while still at number 10, is gaining pace on its competitors, closing the turnover gap to less than £3m on M Price.

MPG saw turnover drop by more than half (55 per cent), the biggest dip in the table.

Profits were hit for all but four of the table, with those taking a downturn showing at least double-digit drops.
