The concrete contractors’ CNinsight top 10 has seen the most movement in 2011, perhaps reflected by the sharp dips in turnover over the year.
Only two companies in the table experienced a rise, while the rest had double digit drops.
J Reddington has reclaimed a place in the CNinsight 100 contractor table this year. It has made the highest rise in the concrete contractors table to take third place after a 19 per cent rise in turnover to tip £105 million.
AJ Morrisroe gained 25 per cent more turnover according to its latest results.
The number with turnovers of more than £100m has slipped, from four last year to three. One notable departure from this club is Laing O’Rourke subsidiary Expanded Structures, replaced by Carey at the top of the table.
Heyrod is out of the table after a 44 per cent turnover fall to £14.5m.
