Revealed: The shortlist for the CN Specialists Awards 2019 will see 93 companies compete for 20 awards.
For the 15th time, the UK’s only national awards dedicated solely to specialist contractors will convene in London at the Grosvenor House Hotel on 27 March.
The shortlist has been revealed today and sees companies from across industry specialisms and regions competing in 20 categories.
Construction News’ expert panel of judges has completed the first stage of judging, determining which companies go through to the second phase.
Among the most recognised firms are Keltbray, which is up for six awards, and AR Demolition and Metek, both of whom have been shortlisted five times.
As part of the second phase, shortlisted companies will head to CN’s offices over the course of a week in February where they will pitch their work to our expert panels in face-to-face judging.
Among more than 70 industry expert judges this year are representatives from each of the UK’s 25 largest contractors and clients including Battersea Power Station Development Company, Scape and First Base.
All the firms recognised on this shortlist are now eligible to enter the Outstanding Contribution to Construction category at the Construction News Awards in July 2019, to recognise the work of specialist contractors in a room full of the UK’s biggest clients, contractors and consultants.
