Jenna Green, Jacobs
Jenna Green re-joined Jacobs in 2012 after a short period away and swiftly made an impact as part of the team that designed the ‘One Jacobs’ onboarding session for new staff, which is now run across the UK for all new starters.
She has been involved in a number of projects and initiatives that have had a lasting positive impact on the business, all during a significant period of change for Jacobs’ HR. Jenna supports a range of different business teams and senior leaders and is a vital part of the business, with her positive attitude and adaptability proving to be a major asset.
CITA 2017 HR Star Jon Norris
Jon Norris, Fluor
Jon Norris has 18 years’ experience in construction, both in the UK and overseas, fulfilling many roles on his way to his current position of field HR manager.
He was the co-founder of Fluor’s Construction Internship Programme and has developed it into a cornerstone of the company’s recruitment strategy. Jon has been instrumental in implementing this programme in Fluor offices in Amsterdam and South Africa, as well as in the UK, seeing it go from strength to strength.
CITA 2017 HR Star Claire Oliver
Claire Oliver, Troup Bywaters + Anders
Claire Oliver was instrumental in setting strategies and implementing procedures that allowed Troup Bywaters + Anders to achieve Investing in People Platinum accreditation, up from Gold.
She also helped launch and develop the firm’s award-winning apprenticeship scheme, which has seen an impressive retention rate of 94 per cent over five years. This has all been achieved by Claire in a short space of time, with the company describing her as “one of a kind”.

CITA 2017 HR Star Chantelle Patterson
Chantelle Patterson, Mace
Joining Mace in 2011, Chantelle Patterson now manages the company’s emerging talent recruitment, and the design and delivery of its apprenticeship / trainee programmes.
One of her strengths is in building relationships, combining specialist knowledge with her business contacts to develop recruitment processes.
She has seen the number of apprentices, trainees and graduates increase under her watch, which has been integral to those programmes winning numerous awards. Chantelle also oversaw a large increase in the percentage of female graduates and undergraduates joining the business as part of a targeted campaign.

Helen Rogers, Cundall
Helen Rogers has worked in the sector for the past 10 years, developing an in-depth understanding of both Cundall and the wider industry during that time.
She has a clear grasp of the talent challenges facing the sector and is able to think creatively to develop effective strategies and solutions. These strategies have had a significant impact on Cundall’s business, helping bring in fresh talent – particularly through the recruitment of graduates – while also developing strong links with academia.
