Balfour Beatty, Vinci and VolkerWessels have been shortlisted seven times each in this year’s Construction News Awards.
The trio were the most shortlisted firms this year, individually or as part of joint ventures, with a total of 107 different companies up for 21 awards.
Costain and Sir Robert McAlpine were close behind with six shortlisted entries apiece.
The first round of judging sees our 81 industry expert judges shortlist firms by ranking them based on their online entries.
Now, 107 companies will compete for the awards over five days of face-to-face judging at the Construction News offices in London.
They include 19 of the top 20 contractors by UK turnover.
Judging takes place the week commencing Monday 13 May.
Our CN Awards judges include leaders of public and private sector clients from the Cabinet Office, Crown Estate, LandSec, British Land, Crossrail 2 and Highways England.
