Farrans Construction lands £51m Belfast Harbour scheme

Farrans Construction has been awarded a £51m contract to construct a new quay wall and deep water berth at D1 Belfast Harbour.

The project will consist of a 480m long new quay structure and deep water berth located in the Port of Belfast and associated works.

In a statement posted on its website the firm said: “Farrans are delighted to be associated with the Belfast Harbour Commissioners and look forward to working with them on this prestigious Project in the Port of Belfast.”

In July, Construction News named Farrans seventh on the top ten list of contractors in Northern Ireland based on contract awards this year.
