A road resurfacing framework worth up to £20 million has become available in Scotland.

Renfrewshire Council is leading on the £15m to £20m framework, which includes the supply of road stone and ancillary materials and works.

The council has formed a joint purchasing group along with Argyll & Bute, East Renfrewshire, Inverclyde and West Dunbartonshire.

The group will provide a road maintenance service for all non trunk roads and may also be responsible for the reconstruction and resurfacing of minor roads, footways and footpaths.

Time-limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is October 17. E-mail or contact 0141 842 5332.
