Hill’s two-year Abu Dhabi extension

Hill International’s joint venture with 3D/I+PI has received an extension of its contract by developer Sorouh Real Estate to provide project management services during construction of the Shams Abu Dhabi development.

The two-year contract extension has a total value to the joint venture of AED 69.9 million (£9.6m). Hill is a 50 per cent participant in the joint venture.

Shams Abu Dhabi on Al Reem Island is a landmark development within Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. One of the first projects expected to be completed is The Sky Tower, a 74-story residential and commercial skyscraper which will be the tallest building in Abu Dhabi.

“We very much appreciate Sourouh’s continued trust and confidence in Hill and our project team,” said Raouf Ghali, president of Hill’s international project management group. “Shams Abu Dhabi will truly be a world-class development.”
