Linden Homes sees further expansion

Galliford Try’s housebuilding expansion plan continues to gain pace after wholly owned subsidiary Linden Homes opened a new headquarters in Guildford, Surrey.

The new regional office will cover the wider Surrey and Sussex regions and represents another key milestone in the group’s three-year plan to target growth in housing.

Managing director for the new office Peter Youll said: “This is a vibrant town and we have previously completed some very successful developments in this area.

“We are confident that having a regional office in Guildford will help us to continue and grow the business throughout the wider Surrey and Sussex regions.”

The group’s growth plan was launched following a 2009 rights issue which raised £119.3m.

The target is to complete 3,000 homes per year by 2012. It currently develops about 2,200 homes per year and has a landbank of 10,000 plots.
