01Oct92 UK: MTI INTRODUCES NEW RANGE OF NATURAL WELSH SLATE.

A new range of natural Welsh slate, mined from the recently re-opened quarries in Gwynedd, has been announced by MTI.The new slates are available in three colours (blue, plum and green) with a wide choice of sizes and thicknesses from 4-10 mm.The company is working to BS 5750 standards and guarantees delivery within six to eight weeks anywhere in the UK. It says that it is offering the natural roofing slates 'as an alternative to cheap imports and so called man-made slates.'
