01Oct92 UK: PROSECUTION AGAINST DEMOLITION UK ADJOURNED DUE TO MONEY TROUBLES.

A prosecution against a demolition firm following the death of a scaffolder was adjourned this week when Snaresbrook Crown Court heard the company had money troubles.Demolition UK of Hamilton Square, Birkenhead, was facing a summons after John Rowland, 58, fell down a lift shaft and broke his neck while working for subcontractor PHD Scaffolders.James Holdsworth, prosecuting, told the court that a winding-up order had been lodged against Demolition UK.
