A site worker was seriously injured when he tried to stop a group of children driving off in his dumper truck last week.John Billany, 33, spotted the youngsters trying to start up the truck on a road building job in North Shields, Tyne and Wear.He raced over to try to stop them but the dumper was in gear and it lurched forward as the children turned the key, crushing Mr Billany between the tipper cradle and a nearby lorry.He was taken to North Tyneside General Hospital with crush injuries. ...
