02Aug91 UK: STRACHAN AND HENSHAW LEASES TURMERIC FABRICATION YARD IN GREAT YARMOUTH FROM RECEIVER.

Strachan and Henshaw, part of the Weir Group, has agreed with receiver Cork Gully to lease former Turmeric offshore fabrication yard in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, which went into receivership in January.The firm will use the yard to fabricate medium sized modules for the offshore oil and gas industry. One of its first jobs, starting in mid-August, is to make a 11 m high, 122 tonne sulphate removal module for a North Sea oil field.
