The weathering and paint-retention properties of masonry can be improved with a silicone resin water repellent from Adshead Ratcliffe.Known as Arbo Masonry Water Repellent, it penetrates the surface, forming a barrier against rain, frost and the formation of effluorescence, while allowing the masonry to breath and dry out.The masonry is unaffected by application of the water repellent, says the firm.
