03Sep92 UK: SHORCO HOLDINGS UNVEILS INTERIM PRETAX PROFITS TO END OF JUNE 1992 OF £105,000.

Margins remain under pressure at Leeds-based plant hirer Shorco Holdings, which this week unveiled pre-tax profits little changed at £105,000 for the half ending June (1991: £115,000).The firm said competition remains fierce and that it has worse problems with bad debts.The group said it was 'vigorously pursuing' cuts in costs and overheads to protect profitability.
