By Nick Barrett.Concrete is being tipped for a comeback on North Sea projects.To signal the revival, contractors are preparing to pour 71,400 tonnes of the material for what will be the first major UK offshore structure to be built in concrete for years - a gravity base tank (GBT) for BP's Forth Field.Taylor Woodrow and Costain will start work on the £50 million job next month.The two companies have formed a joint venture to design, build and install the 121 m long, 114 m wide ...
