Yorkshire Water is to push ahead with its planning application for a £36 million development in Yorkshire despite the uncertainty over the future of the scheme caused by a suspected arson attack at the site.The water company has been in talks with Scarborough Council over the sale of the former Whitehall Shipyard for almost 18 months.Plans had been drawn up to turn the site into a sewage treatment works with associated development on a marina, new housing and refurbishment work. ...
