AMEC is set to complete its acquisition next year of Morse Diesel International, the US construction management company.The plans have been confirmed by Sir Alan Cockshaw, Amec's chairman and chief executive.The firm has held a 50 per cent stake in MDI since January 1990, when it made a joint venture agreement with Morse/Diesel Inc.The deal gave Amec an option to take the remaining 50 per cent.Once the transfer is complete, Morse/Diesel will effectively cease to exist.MDI was set up ...
