08Oct92 UK: DONELON TYSON TO BUILD £15M INTERCEPTOR SEWER IN CLEETHORPES, SOUTH HUMBERSIDE, FOR ANGLIAN WATER.

Donelon Tyson will build the £15 million interceptor sewer in Cleethorpes, south Humberside, for Anglian Water.The job involves constructing 3.6 km of 2.5m diameter sewer tunnel and building a further 2.8km of tributary tunnel and pipe jacked sewers. Work is about to start on site and is expected to take two years.Donelon beat competition from seven tunnellers, including Balfour Beatty, Costain, Denys (part of French contracting giant SGE), Fairclough Lilley, Miller and Murphy.
