British Gas will unveil a new schedule of lower gas prices tomorrow (Friday) that is designed to allow some independent generators to go ahead with plans to build power stations.But the schedule has been finely tuned to match supply with demand, meaning that only the most profitable projects will be built.In March British Gas raised prices from 16p a therm to 24p a therm to choke off demand.
