09Aug91 UK: BUILDING MATERIALS PRODUCERS' PANEL PREDICTS 1992 OUTPUT BY CONTRACTORS TO FALL FURTHER 5.5%.

Forget 1992: Ian McKenzie, head of the BMP forecasting panel, spells out a gloomy message for contractors. BMP was predicting a slump this year followed by a recovery in 1992. Now it says output will fall 11 per cent in 1991 and another 5.5 per cent next year, before showing a slight upturn in 1993.
