The UK office of US contractor Fluor Daniel is to engineer, procure and supervise construction of a 'world-scale' methanol plant for Norway's Statoil. The plant, at Tjeldbergodden, will produce 2,400 tonnes a day from natural gas piped in from the Heidrun offshore field. It is due for completion by the end of 1996. CONSTRUCTION NEWS
