The first phase of an £80 million regeneration of Glasgow's Gorbals district has started. A Wimpey/Miller partnership is building 270 homes and community facilities, thought to be worth around £16 million. The backers are Crown Street Regeneration Project, the New Gorbals Housing Association, the Glasgow Development Agency and Scottish Homes. CONSTRUCTION NEWS
