Blackpool Football Club's detailed application for a £150 million stadium development has been deferred for amendments by the borough council. The club originally put forward proposals for a 20,000-seater multi-purpose arena with a 216-bed hotel, business centre, leisure centre, exhibition complex and some associated retail space. But after the council expressed concern over access and the size of the retail and hotel elements the club has now agreed to work with it to draw up plans acceptable to both parties.Another application including the amendments is expected to be considered in May.
