10Sep92 BELGIUM: SNCB TO COMPULSORILY PURCHASE LAND ALONGSIDE BRUSSELS PARIS RAIL LINK.

Belgium's state rail company SNCB has been allowed by the government to compulsorily purchase 448 lots of land along the initial 11 km stretch of the Brussels-Paris high-speed railway. The order was announced before landowners had been told and before an environmental impact study had been completed.
