10Sep92 UK: DUTCH FIRM PERAR SUES GENERAL SURETY AND GUARANTEE OVER G PERCY TRENTHAM BOND ISSUE.

Dutch firm Perar is suing General Surety and Guarantee for £1.5 million over a bond issued for the collapsed contractor G Percy Trentham. Perar claims the bond became due when Trentham went into administrative receivership in 1991.The dispute is over a building in London's Blackfriars Street. Perar says developer Westleigh assigned to it the right to claim the bond.General Surety's solicitor, Richard White, said: 'There are conditions in the bond which have not been fulfilled.''Perar ...
