Adrian White, the founder and largest shareholder in Biwater, has resigned as chairman and a director of the company and has gone to spearhead a new operation for the water-related contractor in the Far East.Mr White, who will be based in Malaysia, will pursue business for Biwater in the fast growing water markets of the Pacific Rim, such as China, Vietnam and Hong Kong.Mr White has been replaced as chairman by the company's vice-chairman Leslie Jones.Last year, Dorking-based Biwater raised its operating profits 17 per cent to £16.6 million on a turnover up 3 per cent higher at £254.6 million.
