Taylor Woodrow Towell has been awarded an £11 million contract to build a sports stadium in Oman.The stadium, at Nizwa, will include a 400 m running track around a football pitch. Seating will be provided in a 15,000-capacity stand. There will also be a VIP area holding 2,235 and a royal pavilion.Other facilities include reception areas, a media centre, cafeterias, changing rooms and a prayer hall.The contract, which includes building, electrical and mechanical work, is due for completion in November 1994.
