Surrey-based builder Croudace is to cut about 45 of its 300 workforce and focus more on partnership projects with housing associations.Among those to go are three directors including former business development director Malcolm Pollard.This is the second round of redundancies this year for the £60 million turnover company.Finance director Alan Carey said: 'We are a private company with a strong balance sheet and we do not want to risk this.'The company was 'stepping back a bit' from general contracting.
