Liberty Pipeline Company has applied to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for permission to build a US$152 million (£90 million) 58km natural gas pipeline from New Jersey to a site near John F Kennedy international airport. Liberty is a joint venture between Transco, Panhandle Eastern, Coastal Corporation and New York Facilities Group.
