£200m road


Transport Scotland has advertised for a £200 million deal to design and build an 18 km stretch of dual and three-lane motorway to connect the M80 between Stepps, near Glasgow, and Haggs on the edge of Falkirk. Cont ractors interested in the PFI deal have until October 16 to express interest. The winning team will also look after the road for 30 years.
