20Jan94 SWEDEN: FUTURE OF ORESUND LINK STILL UNCLEAR.

The future of Oresund's £1.2 billion crossing between Sweden and Denmark is still unclear following a compromise by the Swedish government which wants to keep both supporters and opponents of the project happy until after September's elections.The Swedish cabinet gave the go-ahead for the link at a meeting last Thursday, but only if the developer can prove that the project will not affect water flows at the mouth of the Baltic Sea.Danish prime minister Poul Nyrup Rasmussen said ...
