20Jan94 UK: ABBCOTT ESTATES WINS APPROVAL FOR DAVENTRY INTERNATIONAL RAIL FREIGHT TERMINAL.

Northamptonshire council has given the go-ahead for a £140 million-plus proposal from Abbcott Estates to build Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal (DIRFT).The terminal is to be sited alongside the west coast freight line and adjacent to junction 18 of the M1. A total of 230,000 sq m of distribution and manufacturing floor space will be provided. CONSTRUCTION NEWS
