20Jan94 UK: HIGHLAND COUNCIL £35M SEWAGE PLAN IN THE PIPELINE.

Highland Council is pressing ahead with plans for a £35 million upgrade of the sewage system in Inverness.Council officers will submit a Notice of Intention to Develop for the sewage scheme at the end of this month.But after that the future progress of the project is less clear as Scotland's local government re-organisation gets into full swing.Financing for the upgrade has still to be finalised as the water and sewerage services are set to move out of direct local government control, ...
