Birmingham-based building products group Newman Tonks has cut 51 jobs at three of its West Midlands subsidiaries.The company has shed 23 staff at NT Door and Window Fittings, 19 at NT Door Controls, and nine at NT Worcester Parsons.Group chief executive Geoffrey Gahan said the job losses were the result of a recent review of all the group's architectural products companies.He added: 'I hope these will be the last cuts; we have to make the group profitable.
