Tyrewatch, an advanced system for measuring and logging tyre details, has been announced by Mitchell Technical Systems.Based on the Psion II hand held computer, the system is used for fleet inspection and tyre management. It comprises a data logger, data processor, tyre depth and pressure gauges and is mounted on the operator's waist belt.At the start of each inspection, the operator is prompted for the customer's name, number and site location of the fleet. For each vehicle the operator then records the vehicle registration and trailer identification number, make and model, odometer reading, axle configuration, and up to 20 comments to describe the vehicle condition.Mitchell Technical Systems Tel: 0332 812661.
